Default Favorite Book

What is your favorite book of all time? Other than scriptures, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People is up there on mine.

Default The Kingdom and the Crown

My favorite book of all time is usually the one I'm currently reading! At the moment I'm addicted to Gerald Lund's trilogy, The Kingdom and the Crown. I love historical fiction. It has a way of bringing things to life and makes sometimes difficult subjects easier to understand. While it might take many months to get through the New Testament, for some reason, I can read a 600 page book ABOUT the New Testament in a week. Go figure!

It's not my all time favorite book(s) but I really have enjoyed the Harry Potter series and I'm looking forward to the new book being release this weekend.

I read a book by Andy Andrews a few months ago that literally changed my life permanently. It's called "The Traveler's Gift-7 decisions that influence personal success" and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who wants to read a deep concept in an easy and fun style.

I love Michener's The Source because it was my first true introduction to the historical novel -- I read it in 8th grade. I like fiction better than non. I agree with Little Women and Harry Potter! Good choices!

Probably To Kill a Mockingbird. First read it in high school and it floored me. Such a great book.

The second in the Tolkien's trilogy, "Fellowship of the Ring" is my favorite.

Default Book Bliss

I don't really have a favorite book, there's too much of a choice! But I must admit that "Bliss" by Peter Carey has always had a lasting impression. It can be read on many levels. It was Carey's first book, plus it was made into a film, so he must be both talented AND lucky! As usual, the book is better than the film, although the film is also very powerful.
