Default Favorite church history trips

Of all of the places to go and visit related to church history, be it a Book of Mormon tour or Nauvoo, Palmyra, or Adam-ondi-Ahman what is your favorite and why?

I loved Nauvoo, but there is truly a special feeling the Sacred Grove. My great aunt who was semi inactive for most of her life, went on a trip in upstate New York. Her husband (who wasn't a member) stopped on the side of the road and told her where they were, and let her get out and walk around for the afternoon. (This was before they had a visitors' center or anything. I thought that was really sweet.

I think the Spirit there was awesome. I wrote some blogs about LDS sites to visit. So if you want to know more, you should visit them. http://lds.families.com/blog/category/427&Start=5

I have never been on any of the church history tours, or to any of the places for that matter. My husband and I want to take our kids when our youngest is old enough to behave herself. 16 mo. isn't the best age to expect a child to cooperate and be quiet on a tour. SO, when she is 4 or 5, I think we will take our kids. I would also like to do a Book of Mormon tour. I think that would be so awesome, and so awesome to take my kids on. Hopefully someday.
