Hi Girls,
I don't post too much on the board; I am more of a lurker. I just needed some advice. My cycles are very irregular (they went from 39 to 45 days). As of right now I am 5 days late (cycle day 50) and have gotten BFN on all the HPT's I took . This morning I scheduled a blood test for Friday. I felt fine all day and now I have some pinkish spotting and I am worried I am getting AF! I should have known when all the tests turned up BFN, but I just feel so sad! We have only been trying for a month, but it just felt like this was it. We timed the BDing right and I ahd symptoms and AF was late. I am very worried that I am not going to be able to get pregnant because of my long cycles. Has anyone else concieved on a long cycle? I'm just really down right now and I haven't told anyone that we are TTC. Thanks for listening.

I'm so sorry your feeling bad right now...I'm not TTC right now but I am on no BCP's. I find that my AF is all over the place and just realized yesterday that I 'O" 14 days from the day AF starts....My lut phase is what is changing. Can you chart on a calender what days you have lots of CM? Mine lasts for 3 days. It took me 3mnths to realize that my cycles were reg...it was just my lut phase that was all over the place

I think charting to would be a good idea and yes it will take a couple of months to know your cycles.. so Goodluck.. Are you still spotting???

I know how you feel with the sadness.. I'm afraid to test because a BFN could so easily break my heart.

I am still spotting, just a tiny bit. I canceled my blood test at the doctors office. I tried temping before but they were all over the place. I am going to try charting my CM, but I usually have several days of EWCM spread out during the month. DH will just have to get used to a lot of BDing!

Hey there! i was like you i had real long irregular cycles and i was 26 and desperatly trying to get pregnant well it took us 10 months to finally conceive our first baby, every month was deception after deception.. but when i look back i now know that to many things we're going on in my life and it wouldn't of been the right time there was too much stress... 2 years later when we wanted another baby it took us only 2 months to get pregnant and for my third i stopped the pill and bam 2 weeks later got my BFP so stay positive maybe it's just not the right time...

you could go the route that me and my dh are doing....BD every other day (sorry if TMI). it is hard work!!!! good luck to you!

Thanks! I think we are going to try BDing every other day. I did get AF on the 12th so now my cycle is 51 days. It's so hard not knowing if your Af is going to show up when you think or if you are pregnant. It's very deceiving and heart breaking. DH is very supportive and knows that my cycles are longer and that my endometriosis does not help. I have a baby shower tomorrow and feel a little down but eventaully it will be my turn.

I, more then most know about irregular cycles. I had mine every 20-91 days. It took over 18 months to concieve my little guy but looking back I realize that my life was so stressed and crazy that of course I had even my cycle off. Then inbetween visit and lab test to rule out fertility issues, I received news that my in-laws were soon to move in. We decided to stop trying and just wait for the test to come back. It then took 3 months to realize that I was pregnant, exactly a few days before my in-laws moved in. Because of my long cycles, I never even suspected it until I kept telling my husband, how funny it would be to not know I was pregnant since my cycles were so off. It finally dawn to test, in case. Good luck and hang in there.

I've found CM to often be a good indicator. Mine was of and weird this month but oh well . If it looks like an egg white the time is right, haha!
