Thumbs down Feeling yukky

This is going to end up more of a whine than anything lol...

After fighting for a week trying to get clear of my sinus trouble without antibiotics, I finally went to the dr on Friday -- and yup, 10 days of amoxicillin for a sinus infection. Add on a yeast infection (yup, another prescription for that) and I've been feeling pretty blah. I'm behaving -- eating well, taking my vitamins, drinking lots of fluids, not overdoing, getting lots of rest... Now, this morning I wake up and I'm getting a cold sore! Not hard to tell my system is down... I only ever get cold sores when I'm run down. Also passed out hard this afternoon for a three-hour nap... Couldn't be worse timing for me getting sick either, we close on the new house on Thursday and have the movers booked for Saturday!!! I just wish all this stuff would up and get gone lol, I've got too much to do this week to be sick...

Honey, you are overdoing right now! You needed that 3* nap today for your health and your baby's health.

If you were closeby, I'd be there helping you pack.

When I was pg w/ DS#2, having bleeding issues, and moving into our 1st home, my girlfriend from work and her daughter volunteered to pack up my kitchen and my china. She was an angel & so was her teenaged daughter.

Just worry about your breakables and your kitchen packing this week. One box and sit for 15 minutes with your feet up. 2nd box and sit for 15 minutes with your feet up. I'm guessing 6 - 8 boxes at most.

Things in the closets, let DH put in boxes.

Stuff on your chest of drawers, stick inside the drawers.

Your body is telling you just to sit and take it easy.

((((Hugs))))

Thanks Angie.

I really don't feel like I'm overdoing... I tidy a little, sit down, do a few dishes, sit down, etc... I've even been limiting the amount of driving around and shopping I do because I find that tires me out pretty quickly. As it is I try to make sure DH is with me to go get groceries or whatnot. He makes sure I don't do much when I'm feeling icky anyhow lol. He's out right now picking us up a (very) late supper, and has cooked for us all weekend and kept DS out of my hair so I could take it easy. Got me a good man there lol.

Unfortunately I'm really prone to sinus problems, particularly this time of year with the weather constantly changing from warm to cold and back again; I get yeast infections frequently (TMI lol) even when I'm not pg; and, although I don't get them too often, I find cold sores will make a guest appearance when I'm already sick, probably because my body's busy fighting off whatever else... talk about system overload lol. As soon as I started feeling this coming on, I made sure I sat down and put my feet up if I felt the least bit of fatigue. I guess I just need a couple of more days for the antibiotics to kick in... hopefully I'll wake up feeling better tomorrow.
