Boy am I glad "RWP" has re-emerged under this great site! I've missed posting.

To update on our IVF/DE cycle: it has been postponed until January/February. For whatever reason, it took longer than anticipated to get her started on her first cycle, so she just did ER in August for the first couple. She overstimmed so couple #1 did not have any leftover embies to freeze. However, they are PG with twins. It's good to be 3rd in line, as by that time they'll know how she responds. She's well underway for cycling for couple #2 this month, with ER in November for them.

In the interim, a coworker and good friend, who is 38, just did a Clomid cycle with IUI and she got huge betas. 1st one was 14dpo at 281. 2nd one was 28dpo at 452! She gets her first u/s on the 19th to see how many she's incubating!

So, that makes it feel like a longer wait until January. ARGH! I know, we'll get there and get our chance soon enough.

Hello,

We are starting fertility treatments. Both my DH and I show all normal on the tests so beginning the long journey of trying to get pregnant.

Any advice? I am starting with the Clomide where I have to take it from Day 5-9 of my cycle and get blood test. YIppeeee!

Going for our first fertility appointment on December 6th. I am 42 and just got remarried last year to a man with no children.
My first husband & I were blessed with two beautiful boys who are now 19 & 12 years old. I had to seek some medical treatment to concieve the 2nd boy. Just two rounds of Clomid.
I am hoping I am not to old and don't have to many problems getting the BFP!! I only have one ovary as well so the odds are against us big time.

This has been a long time coming, but we are finally underway to do IVF w/DE! I just stopped BCPs on Saturday. I've been taking Lupron for 1 week now. The donor begins Lupron today.
Target date for ER: Feb. 15 w/a 5 day embie transfer around Feb. 20.

Go for our first HSG test next Thursday. Came through the FSH test with flying colors. I am very excitited. The nurse said that sometimes you can get pregnant right after having the HSG test cause you are all flushed out. It's been 13 years since I have been pregnant so I am hoping for the best.

We have "arrived"! Donor goes for egg retrieval tomorrow, DH does his thing before lunch. Then we hold our breath and await the first fertilization report on Friday. If all goes well, we'll have a 5 day transfer.
PIO (progesterone in oil) shots begin tonight. Ow.
Thank goodness for yoga; it's the only thing keeping me sane right now.

I don't believe it! I am finally pregnant! We got the word on Thursday. My first HCG beta, 9dp5dt was 301. Awaiting results on the 2nd beta today!
