I just wanted to share a little something with all of you wonderful ladies. In my experience of TTC I have picked up a TON of information. I was very lucky to have a Dr.'s office that wanted the patients to be hands on with everything. I was always told my hormone levels and what they mean but of course there were times when I had no clue what they were talking about! So to help settle my mind I searched for help and I found a website that saved me from going nuts for 27 months of TTC. So I thought I would share my site with all of you.
First I have to say this, I always encourage women to ASK! ASK ASK ASK LOTS of QUESTIONS! The only way you will know whats going on with your cycle is if you ask! So if your office says "Your P4 looks great!" Then ASK what the exact number was! I kept a journal with all my numbers for every cycle so I could compare cycles and see my progress. Actually my cycle with the highest P4 is the one I conceived with!
Second, Research everything. Check what those numbers mean and how they effect your cycle. Knowledge is POWER while TTC. I cant tell you how many times I was told "I dont think you ovulated this month" to go research my levels and find out that my level was high enough to indicate some type of ovulation even if it was weak!
I truly wished I could find someone who went through all of this and came out the other end with that long awaited baby. I wished there was someone who could break things down for me and let me know what things mean. Well I never found that person but I am more than willing to use my knowledge to help the rest of you.
So I am sharing the hormone site I found long ago with all of you. I hope it helps all of you in your TTC journey become more involved in what is going on with your bodies. I also want to let you ladies know that I am always here to answer any questions any of you have about hormone levels, fertility treatments and TTC. Please feel free to ask me anything.
I wish ALL of you the best of luck and a short TTC journey!
