Default Finding Legitimate Work From Home Opportunities

Here are my suggestions on finding a legitimate opportunity that's right for YOU:

- Set your financial goals -- Are you just looking for extra income or a potential full-time income? How long (and hard) are you willing to work to meet your goal?

- Determine if you are looking for a JOB or a BUSINESS -- there is a distinct difference between the two and you want to focus your energies appropriately for the best results.

- If looking for a JOB, what are your marketable skills and previous experiences? If you are looking for a BUSINESS, go with your passions, things that interest and motivate you the most. Build a list and use that to begin your search. General rule of thumb: Never pay for a job (businesses, on the other hand, usually involve some expenses).

- Review your budget -- know ahead of time what you are willing and able to invest into your business, including start-up costs and ongoing maintenance and promotion.

- Find a rep to contact, check out their websites, ask questions, do your own independent research. Check resources such as www.bbb.org, www.scam.com, and www.ripoffreport.com for potential scams.

Thanks, there's a lot of scams out there. Especially now that the economy is bad, people are losing their jobs.

Having been recently job hunting myself, I've noticed that insurance companies are being shameless - and deceptive - recruiters. You would think sales is just soooo easy, just sit back and let the money roll in. In fact people need a license, and training, and have to put in a LOT of hours on the phone and pay for just about everything they do BEFORE they make any money.

The deal for them is - the insurance company makes money either way.

I have my own home business and it is hard. easy but hard if that makes since. you have to be willing to put time into it and not be effected by family and friends negative remarks. Network marketing is a wonderful tool if you know that it is not a quick fix. I have been involved with network marketing for several years and even though I care for my aging mother and don't have much time to put into it right now it gives me hope knowing that it is there for me when the time comes that I can devote my life to it. you do have to do your research into the companies. I was involved with some that were not recession proof so one has to do their homework on the company and feel good about it.

I work from home taking calls and it is great. I work in my pjs and set my own hours. I dont have to market a product and I get paid every two weeks. I chose my own hours to suit my family and am happy to work at midnight. I wont ever get rich but take home about $400 a week for about 38 hour week.
