I feel so bad James has his first cold! It's all in his head and I feel so bad there is nothing I can do to make him comfortable.

The Vicks plug ins work wonderfully and the doc at the urgent care (when my husband was sick) said they were safe for all ages. I use them with Emma and she does just fine! Just keep up with aspirating his nose and putting saline drops in it.... Plus, keep the humidifier going. Is he on antibiotics?

He isn't on any meds yet. We're hoping it will work out on his own.

DH bought me when I was sick a while ago a Vicks plug in. He wanted to put it in the babies room but I wasn't sure. If he wakes up in bad shape I will definitely have him put it in.

Yeah the Johnson's vapor bath does work great. I even use it when I'm sick .

I always put some folded towels or blankets under the cot matress so they don't have to sleep so flat.
