Default Flavor?

anyone know how long after i eat a meal that the "flavors" end up in my MM? I ate something spicy the other day and she was fussy a little later, but i didn't know if it was just her being fussy or if it was from my meal. Does it take just a few hours or is it like a full day? any one know?

I think its a few hours....Its a good thing you've noticed this...I suggest staying away from spicy food for a bit...you could go back to eating them when your babe is a little bigger. I found that I had to stay away from certain things when Aiden was really little but as he got older and his digestive system matured he handled it a whole lot better

What Mom eats can affect your baby. Some babies are not bothered at all, others have very touchy tummies.

This is all new with a new baby, so best to avoid some things until babe is older and you have a good handle on BF.

Maybe these will bother your baby, maybe not.
chocolate,
cinnamon, garlic, curry, chili pepper,
pineapple,
gassy veggies ~ onions, cabbage, garlic, cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, and peppers,
fruits with a laxative effect cherries and prunes,
and caffeine in coffee, tea, pop.

Keep on with the BF - you are doing a wonderful thing for your baby!
It's pure gold!
