I have been thinking about starting a business for a very long time now.I need some opinions from moms out there. What I want to do is plan little girls birthday parties. It would be a princess for a day theme. This is what the party would include:

1. Bathrobes for up to 10 guests
2. Music from movie soundtracks (ie. High School musical, Hannah Montana etc.)
3. Facials (Aimed at young girls--only warm towels and cucumbers, no chemicals)
4. Toe nail/finger nail decortaing
5. Mini Make Over for the birthday girl--Hair done and depending on age and parents wishes, light makeup before the party begins
6. birthday cake
7. Pink decorations (If you want another color you must let me know ahead of time)
7. Games (ie. freeze dance, Who knows the bday girl best quizzes, etc.)
The party would be 3 hours in length, including cake.
If the parents want other food/beverages, they are responsible.

I would charge $25 per girl, including the birthday girl.

Theres a place kind of like that here. Its a big place that a lady bought and re did a few years ago and she has it decorated REALLY cool. One room is like a Big fairy princess castle thing for little girls and they dress up and play all of the princess stuff and the other room is decorated more for little boys like a king and his court. It is a REALLY neat place. I think its a great idea, I would definitely have my girls bday at a place like this. Good luck if you decide to go through with it, I think it would be alot of fun!

Heck, I think some of that stuff even older girls would like. More hairstyling/makeup and perhaps dj/karaoke

I agree with my mom..I would love that!!! And I'm 14..Except I would prefer music from Hilary Duff and Good Charlotte.. ^_^

Sounds like a lovely idea Divasmomma. My thoughts though are it sounds more suited to the 12-14 age group.
My neice who is 7 nearly 8 cant stay still long enough to have to have face hair and nail treatment etc. She is too desperate to get out on her bike etc.She does love to have a few braids in her hair, you know the coloured beads, even just a few strands.My opinion would be to plan the princess party but scrap the robes and facials etc! Learn to do hair braiding, provide bubble machines, (that age group love them) musical chairs, pass the parcel, dancing to music then when music stops they have to remain still-first one to move is out.There are loads of childrens games like this.I am sure busy mums would love someone to plan their daughters party and help them with the whole organisation.If you have a car and could go to their house all the better. There are so many options but that would be my idea. All the best with the parties I am sure will do a great job whatever you decide.
