Last fall when they stopped doubling up to $1, the clerks gave mixed answers - some said it was because it was a new owner of the co, and there won't be anymore doubling anymore at all (ok that was obviously wrong since they're doubling to .70), and some said they'll start back after c'mas - in the spring time.

So I don't know. I miss the doubles too. Only doubles we get here in FL.

I know, I sold a lot at my garage sale for $1/ bottle, sold out in the first hour. I probably had 20 bottles. Mr. Clean was also a huge seller, $1/bottle, had at least 30 bottles all gone in 2nd hour!

I only have 4 bottles of mr clean & about 8 of the gain left. boohoo, hope they bring it back. I'll be ready w/ my coupons! !!

My Fred's stockpile is getting low now too! I can remember being so excited when it was time for P&G coupons to come out each month so I could see what would be free at Fred's for the month.

Carefree pantiliners are $1.00 and there are .55 cpns. from the paper a couple of weeks ago. They have 3 different packages so if you have 3 cpns. you can get all 3 free and maybe possible overage. Castleberry beefstew is .99 and there are .35 cpns. out for it.

Yep, I can relate. My Fred's stockpile is running low. I haven't really shopped there since they stopped the $1 doubles. Mostly as CVS and Walgreens came to my area!
