Use Fred Meyer competitor coupon for Life cereal (3 for $5, limit 6) at Albertsons. Buy at least 4 boxes to make this work.

$6.68 (4 boxes at $1.67) - $2.00 (4 $0.50 coupons from V 2-20) - $2.00 (4 doubles) = $2.68 for 4 boxes

At my local Albertsons, they scan the product first and deduct the amount later to match the competitor price. My boxes scanned at $3.99 each (shelf price was $4.29, but they rang up on sale). Since the total price is $15.96 (4 x $3.99), you get a catalina for $5 off any produce (promotion to get this catalina when you spend $15 on select Pepsico products). Also, you can use this to do the Smart Spot $5 rebate in the 2-13 Sunday paper.

I bought the original Life cereal, and the coupon for that was only .50. The same paper had a 1/1 coupon for Honey Graham Life cereal, so you could get a much better deal using that coupon. At the Albertsons I went to, they only had a larger box of the Honey Graham, and the Fred Meyer coupon specified a smaller size.

Marvella, thanks for the heads up on the Chef Boyardee pasta. I completely missed that coupon- a good one to get it for free. I just saw the picture of a boxed item and skipped over it.

I've seen the Chef Boyardee in dinosaur shapes at Winco for .48 each. I bought a whole bunch of these (I think the coupons then were .35/3) to get free movie tickets. I normally wouldn't have bought them, but I was looking for the cheapest way to get the tickets. Anyway, my 2-year-old loves it!

I haven't had a chance to match up sales with coupons yet, but I wanted to give a heads up on something I just noticed. The valupage for Albertsons has $1 savings off next order when you buy any pepsid. The 5 count Pepsid AC is on sale 10/10, and there's a 1/1 coupon from the inserts, making this a possible moneymaker. I think it should work on the 5 count size but haven't tried it out yet. I won't be able to go to the store today but will post what happens when I do make it there. Hopefully, they'll still be in stock... There's nothing to lose- it'd be free anyway, but you might make $1 off of it. If someone else tries this first, please post what happens.

I went to Albertsons this morning, the $1/1 cpn does work on the 5 count AND you get $1 catalina for your next one.

My store did not have the unilver Buy5/Get5 set up yet so they just gave me $5 cash back off my order.

Also Albertsons has Red Vine Licorice 10/$10 use the Fred M. cpn B1G1 =.50/box

I talked my husband into stopping at Albertsons yesterday for me to get the Pepsid and Ragu pasta sauce on the buy 5, get $5 back promotion. The $1 catalinas for the Pepsid printed for him too. On the bottom of the receipt, it said to show your receipt and savings card to get $5 savings off next visit- limit one coupon per customer. In the ad, it said limit one per customer per transaction. Now, I'm not sure if they mean you can just redeem one $5 coupon at a time or you can just redeem it once during the promotion period. Any ideas?...this is really a great deal.

Albertsons

Wild Cherry Pepsi .89 - .55 mnf. - double = free

Carefree pantiliners 10/10 - look for possible .55 mnf. in this Sunday's paper (listed in Taylortown preview) and double to get free.

Promotion to buy 5, get $5 back- lots of possible combinations here. Coupons for Lipton sides, Ragu sauce, Wishbone, Skippy, and Shedd's spread are in V 1-16. Use the .99 competitor coupon from Fred Meyer on the Ragu sauce for extra savings.

Safeway

Kellogg's fruit twistables 10/10 - .55 mnf. - double = free
(Anyone know which insert this was in? I'm having trouble finding it...)
EDIT: found in SS 1-30

I was at the Sherwood Safeway today, and they have Aunt Jemima frozen breakfasts on clearance on a back endcap display for .99, free after .50 mnf. coupon and double. They also had bagel bites for .99...there might be coupons out for those now.

I also tried doing the $5 promotion again at Albertsons for the 2nd time, and it worked fine using the same savings card.
