Found more free dog food at Albertsons. There is a store brand called "Happy tails". They have some 3lb bags that are $1 and each bag says on the top "$1 coupon inside". I got one to check it out and the coupon inside says $1 off any size! So use on that size and they're free! I went back to get two more and the coupons did not scan, saying the items did not match, but the cashier put them in anyway. It does say any size, but they will probably have to be put in manually.

Thanks for posting this. I'll get a couple to see my dog. I'll open one to see if Buster will eat it. He is picky. If he doesn't like it, I'll probably donate some.

I think I will get a few too. My dog is picky about what is in her bowl but will pretty much eat ANYTHING if you say its a Treat or Cookie. So i can use dog food for treats. I will check this out today, thanks op!

My dogs will eat almost anything (including dirty diapers ). I looked at the label and it didn't look too bad to me. A lot of the same ingredients as the free bag of Iams I had just gotten. But like I said, mine will eat anything, so free dog food is always good here.
Bumping to add they also have this deal on cat food. They had small boxes of cat food today right next to the dog food bags with the $1 coupon notice on the outside of the box. I don't have cats, so didn't get any, but probably free cat food as well.

Were they on SALE for $1 or is that the normal price for this small bag? Just curious... wanna make sure I don't waste a trip to Albertson's to find out our store doesn't have them on sale. Happens a lot around here.

I think it's the normal price-they look like a trial size. But I'm not sure-they were on a display at my store with a 10/$10 sign. I didn't check the regular shelf tag to see if there was a regular price, sorry. I will be going back tomorrow, so if nobody else has checked by then, I'll post back and let you know.

ah, I think I'll wait until this weekend then. If it's 10/10 at your store that probably means it's not at my store and probably means it costs more than $1 here.
But that's okay... even if it costs more here- I can buy one, then do the use cpn/buy another over and over again this WEEKEND when the cpns are tripled (and hopefully doubled again like last time- up to the amt of item) Then it won't matter if they are $1.50 or something here.

Could you please tell me if the coupon was right on top or was it in the middle of the dog food? Reason why I ask is that I'll probably buy two, go to my van and get out the coupon, and repeat process.

All but one of my bags had the coupon right on top-wrapped in plastic. I had to dig for the other one. I think as long as the bag doesn't get shaken around too much, they'll still be close to the top. But, it's a small bag, so not too hard to find the one that wasn't on top.

Oh, and the bags I got all had tape on them as well as being sealed, so I actually opened one in the store to get the coupon out and just taped it back.

I looked at 2 stores today and we only have the Happy Tails dog biscuts/treats for $1. The biscut/treat boxes didnt say anything about a coupon inside. Oh well. Great deal anyway OP!
