Default Free Educational Resources (for homeschoolers, or not)

As a Christmas gift to homeschoolers, I linked to my five favorite free stuff for homeschooler sites. These resources are great for homeschoolers and others who want an educational boost as well.
If you know of any free sites that are useful to homeschoolers, please feel free to ad a link to them too. I am looking for websites that offer free posters, cd's games, worksheets, and other things that might be useful to homeschoolers. I am not looking for websites that compile lists we have to comb through.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, Andrea and all --

Here's another free science resource that we like, mostly for younger kids:

http://www.krampf.com/news.html

It's Robert Krampf's "Experiment of the Week." If you sign up for his email list, he'll send an easy experiment each week. They're always very doable, done with stuff you have around the house.

Default Want them to write something... anything?

per email from local homeschooling group: "Choose a character already drawn for you, choose the character's mood, add talk or thought balloons, etc. Story ideas are provided. Print out and color or email the cartoons when finished. This is a great teaching tool!"

Some resources I've found;

Art games from the NGA

Tons of math software and resources

Understanding Evolution. Click on 'Understanding Evolution for Teachers' for a great lesson on what science is and links to some really fun lesson plans.

Paper models from the European Space
Agency

Printable and customizable graph, penmanship, etc. paper
