There was a coupon in this past weeks Sunday paper for $1.50 off Goodlife cat or dog treats. Kroger has a 3 oz. bag of cat treats for $1.09 so free with coupon. But then they also have a sign on the shelf - buy 2 get a $1.50 coupon at the register good off of your next order - so the deal gets better. But then, I was very pleasantly surprised at the register when in addition to the $1.50 OYNO I also got a coupon for $1 off 2 of the same brand and type of cat treats. WOW! I went back and got more. I did four transactions, two bags each time, using the $1/2 coupon my total for each transaction was coming to $1.28 and every time I got back another $1/2 coupon and $1.50 OYNO coupon.
I hit another Krogers on the way home and was able to get the same deal there. I did a bit of testing -- if you buy more than two packages in one transaction you will get multiple of the $1.50 OYNO coupon, but only one of the $1/2 cat treat coupons will print. So best to do each set of two bags in seperate transactions.

I forgot to add earlier, but the tag on the shelf said this deal was good through 5/27.

Also they had a similar deal for dog treats. Goodlife dog bone treats were $3.79 each. Buy 2 and get $2 coupon OYNO. Not free, but with coupon still a darn good deal. I brought some home for the mutt and he didn't turn loose until it was all gone, so apparently pretty tasty.

My 34-year-old son bought 6 bags of cat treats and used his 6 coupons. The cashier took off $1.50 for each bag rather than $1.09, so the result was -$2.33. She told my son, "That will be $2.33." My son explained that it was -2.33, she disagreed, and he said, "I don't owe you $, you owe me $!" The manager was called over, and the cashier said, "This boy be trying to charge ME $2.33 for HIS cat treats!"
I laughed til I cried when he told me his tale, which did end properly.

Just wondering where you've found this deal active my new Kroger had these on sale for 2/$4. That's $1 before tax and no catalina printed for me. I'm not sure that my Kroger has their coupons printers working yet, but I don't know for sure. TIA for letting me know where people are finding this to work.

I'm the original poster and I'm in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I've hit up several different Krogers on multiple different days since discovering this deal and it's worked everywhere just as posted until yesterday. As of yesterday I'm still getting the $1.50 OYNO Catalina, but the extra $1.00 off 2 coupon is no longer printing. Darn!

Also, the $1.09 here appears to be the every day price here and not a sale price.
