Today has been interesting so sorry if my thoughts are all over the place. I went in for my Appt today and my Dr had to leave to go and deliver a baby. So I went and got my NST done first. I am having VERY mild contractions more mild than a week ago. Baby is pretty much inactive but ok. Well it took almost 2 hours for them to get what they needed at my NST then I went back to my Dr's office to actually have my appt. My blood pressure was 140/80 so it is basically back up again but not dangerous. My dr has diagnosed me with Chronic Hypertension since my blood pressure started to be elevated at 18 weeks. Well with the Chronic Hypertension dx my dr said he will be inducing me. He will not allow me to go to 40 weeks or even past it (THANK GOODNESS) He said that he will not give me a date as of this week for my induction as he wants to prevent a c section if at all possible(not sure if my dr was feeling ok as he suggested a c section awhile ago) BUT he wants me to be dialated to at least 2 or 3 for me to be induced. I am only at 1. He says he is hoping that I am dialated more next week because he wants the baby out by 38 weeks. So I am going to change my ticker to the new due date and pray that I dialate. My dr told me to walk as much as possible even though walking doesnt actually dialate you (his words not mine) He says that it just puts pressure where it needs to be and can cause some mild contractions but not actually start labor unless its ready. He said that it sounds like my body is getting ready to do stuff but I am not dialated enough for an exact date as of yet. So now I am more confused. I am measuring right on now last week I was measuring a week ahead Dr said this is normal at this point. But I should actually have my baby around the first week of october. I am excited and nervous and have to go clean my house
That is awesome news Kristin...won't be long now before babe is in your arms......Did you say clean your house....was that a sudden burst of energy you had????

One day closer to that precious baby in your arms!
Sit on the floor criss-cross legs. Do lots of walking.
(((hugs)))
