Default Furnace leak: advise please

We are in the process of buying a townhome.During home inspection, inspector pointed out a possible furnace leak. A licensed HVAC technician later however did not find any leak in the funace. Now If there was no furnace leak in the first place then the fluid must come from somewhere else. What should we do at this point? Reinspect the house? The disclosure document does not say about a roof damage

I would get your realtor to go forward with this one - any buyer agent worth anything who is actually representing you should be making serious inquiries as to the source of the water. It could be minor. You want to be assured that it is not the plumbing, or that a pump is not about to break.

Depends on what the leak is, and you should know where it is coming from. Is it plumbing, or is the furnace not draining properly, or is there a leak in the basement that pools by the furnace?
