Default Gardening The Christian Way

I googled Christian gardening and came up with slim pickings. So I decided to share what I know about things growing under the Son.
I've been blogging for quite awhile and just decided to make my blog an official Christian garden blog. In doing so, I'm seeking out those like minded folks. I was running out of things to say without giving God the glory.
I have pictures on my site and information about historic gardens. North Carolina is my home. Much of the information I'll be sharing both here and at my site is about my home and the setting here in the Piedmont of NC.
There is also sharing about family, home, and a few dozen of my hobbies.
I look forward to meeting you.

This was my approach to gardening in NJ. The Wiki source is LDS, but the hymn is commonly sung by Sacred Harp singers thoughout Christian sources. It predates the citation of 1840. Here it is in the Sacred Harp index. The Garden Hymn.

Spices, lilies, fruitful.

Then I got divorced, moved to a smaller house, and really had no time to work on this.

Now that I am in Florida, as soon as I buy my house, I intend to be getting back to this idea. Spices, lilies, fountains, fruit, respite, roses, refreshing grace divine.

mcmama, the words to the song are beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I woke up this morning with a new song in my heart. It's good to write and be free to talk about the Lord. Generic garden writing wasn't working for me.
Add Caladiums to your list of must have plants for Florida. Caladium World.com has a ton of them less expensive than anywhere.
Good luck to your son. My husband is retired AF and I was in too. You must be a military family since you mention the commisary.
