Default Garnier Nutrisse hair color

This hair color is on sale B1G1F for 7.48. Use 2 3.00 mfrs cpns and you get 2 for 1.48. I've never tried this particular brand. Has anyone else? What did you think of it?

I tried this brand too and did not like it...it lightened my hair most unnaturally and made it a bit orange although the color I chose was nearest to my own hair color. Since I only want to cover a little gray...I went back to semi-permanent color.

I have used many different hair colors and think the GF one is one of the best for my hair. I would guess a lot would have to do with the kind of hair you have, water you have, if you have a softner ect.

True...what did not work on my hair might work on yours....and you could do a test strand first as recommended on the box...but I don't know anyone who actually does...

Thanks everyone. Guess I should do the strand test. I've never actually done this even though I've been coloring my grays for quite a long time now.

My $3/1 cpns are on the 100% color by Garnier not the Nutrisse. I only have $2/1 Nutrisse or I'd get some of them at Krogers. My Krogers doesn't even carry the 100% Color

Way to go queenie. I've used NicenEasy and like that one too, and I like the Dollar General Clairol Balsam.

It's weird that you asked about that particular one. I have never had a traumatic hair coloring experience EXCEPT for that one. I have tried so many hair color brands all varying in brown. Anywhere from light ash - medium golden brown. It all looks pretty much the same to me.

Garnier Nutrisse was the exception. I used (I'll never forget this color) Almond Bliss. It was SUPPOSED to be light brown. It came out black. My scalp stayed black for days. I washed it and washed it and could not get the black out.

It's ironic that it says "Trauma Proof" right on the box.

That was funny. Of course if it happened to me, it wouldn't be. Thanks for the "heads up".

Add me to the list of bad experiences with this haircolor. My hair turned bright orange. Not the color I was going for. I looked like a clown. I will stick with Clairol Hydriance.
