Default Getting Nervous

well.. as some of you gals know already, DH and I are going to TTC again starting next month. Well, I have a history of M/C and would like to know if I still have a high chance or not?

I heard that once you have successfully carried a baby to full term you may not have this problem any more. Is this true? Or am I still likely to be put on high risk for the first 3 months like I was when I was PG with Lucas?

Im just worried that now I have one child that it will be super hard for me to keep a child to grow to full term. Im very scared of having another miscarriage after the fact that I know I can carry full term babies!

Am I just being a little scaredy cat? Im thinking that one M/C could set me off for trying for another one anymore. But I dont like the fact that Lucas would be an only Child.....

SIGH Please let me know your thoughts....

...ALSO...

Ive heard alot on BD a certian way help create a girl. I have ALWAYS wanted my little "Mama's Boy" First then my "Daddys Girl" next. PLUS my MIL is very wanting a girl for our next. (She kinda said some rude things to me about my M/C's and saying ""I HOPE THEY WERNT GIRLS"") Anyways... can someone give me a few pointers on how to TRY to conceive a girl?? NOT for my MILs sake but for mine, Ive always dreamt of having a Boy then the Girl

i searched the internet and found a way to make a calander that tells you when to try to conceive for a boy or girl, we wanted a boy, and got a boy, but i dont know if its beacuse of the timing or if its just what happened. if i can find the website i will put it up for you but like i said, no gurantees i dont know for sure that is why we had our boy!

maybe try going to the library and checking out a couple of books. i know that in the book "The Miraculous World of your Unborn Baby" and in the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" there are sections on gender selection. I hope you get your BFP quick quick and it is a little GIRL!!!!

I think it's totally normal to be nervous... I've felt the same way, but since the M/C there's always this little hint of doubt in the back of my head during that 2ww. Hopefully, that time is behind you and you'll get your bfp really soon.

I found this Chinese Birth Chart if you want to look at it.

How many m/c have you had? I had 2 m/c's in a row and then had 2 more babies that I carried to full term and they were both healthy. I know you're feeling though, I was scared to death when I became pregnant again. I think the fact you were able to carry a healthy baby is a good sign that you can have another full term pregnancy. Good luck!

From what I've read, once you you have a a successful pg, your chances of m/c are normal. I think I read that they are about 15% (after 4 weeks), but can be affected by age. I was really nervous too, and then ended up with a chemical last month. But, I know we can do it because we did it successfully before, so try telling yourself that. It makes it a little easier to think positively.

As far as having girl, there is a book called Boy or Girl, how to determine the sex of your baby or something like that. My mom swares by it since she used it to have me. It is based on using temps/cm to determine ovulation, and then only bd'ing certain days depending on what sex you want. FF also has a feature using the Shettle's method where it will map out bd days for you depending on what sex you want.

I have heard that if you bd a few days before Ov then you have a higher chance of concieving a girl, male sperm die off quicker leaving the female sperm still swimming, if you want another boy then bd right at ov time
