Default Getting off the bottle question

How did you transition your baby off the bottle to a cup? What age were they?

My family has been pressuring me to get Jason and Sarah off their bottles. They are 11 months old. They drink 4-5 - 6oz bottles of formula a day. Then at meals and other times they drink water or juice from a suppy cup. I can't get them to drink the formula from a sippy cup. They will only drink it from a bottle. My Ped. Dr. wants them to go on whole milk at 12 months and give it to them in a sippy cup...

Any suggestions would be great!

I would just wait until they are 12 months and try to get them onto the sippy cup with whole milk. Since it will taste different than formula, they may be more willing to switch from bottle to cup.
