Default getting rid of baby clothes

I've been going through all the clothes Katelyn doesn't fit into anymore because my sister is pregnant with a girl (we just found out thursday she's having a GIRL) She's due in July. I wanted to give her plenty of time to go through them and get ready...She has a very demanding 3 yr old who will be 4 in September and I think it might take a lot of time with her little girl around. So I'm trying to give up as much of Katelyn's clothes as I can. It's fun to look at all of them and remember her in them...it's amazing how much she has grown!!! It's a little bit hard to part with them too but I know they're going somewhere where they're needed. I wish I was having another baby....Maybe later....maybe my sister will send them back to me whenever I get pregnant *lets hope so!!*

I know the feeling! I was going through Nevy's today b/c I couldn't fit anymore clothes in her closet ( her closet is HUGE. It's bigger than mine and we still dont have enough room. This kid has more clothes then dh and I!). So we had to put all the old ones away. I was looking at her preemie ones and I still cant believe she ever fit in them. She was such a peanut! I plan to keep her stuff until the next baby. A lot of her clothes are new with tags and she never wore them. I was thinking about selling them on ebay but I rather hold onto them for now!

I got rid of a ton of Jaecy's clothes, newborn to 3 months. I said i wouldnt need them because what were the chances of having another girl in the same season....well i was wrong...i got another girl in the same season haha...luckily i had let my gf's little sister borrow all of her bigger clothes, so when i found out i was preg w/ Kaydee (and found out she was a girl as well) they gave me back all of my clothes PLUS a ton more...now Kayds is in 3-6 months and im getting back into all of Jae's old clothes...its really great to see her little sister wearing her old clothes!! And ps...you will both get to re-use your clothes as well

i really know how you feel, i still have my 2 year old dd's clothes and can't seem to be able to give them away. You know you can always ask that your sister gives you back the clothes when she's done with them, i'm sure she wont mind...

You know it's a tiny bit silly that I am attached like this because I got most of these clothes FROM her to begin with from her first baby!! So I am sure she feels the exact same way! I am gonna be so upset if she gets rid of any of them though...I'll just have to let go and not worry till I do have another girl (assuming I do)
