What are you getting your DH or SO for Christmas?
I just don't know what to get him this year.

For my son (5) a scooter, PJ's, clothes, a neat laser tag game, and a pop up arcade. For my daughter (2 1/2) babies of coarse, a trike, clothes, a bubble bath beater, and a giant stuffed dog! I did all of my shopping online this year, there are some great online toy stores!

I got DH a 1 year subscrioption to SIRIUS radio and the car kit. His CD player bit the dust a few months ago and he loves sports so this should be a nice gift.

Dh and I are not exchanging gifts this year. We need a new roof so we are putting the money we would have spent on gifts for the new roof.
Dh says "Nothing says loving like a bundle of shingles!!" He says that to anyone who asks what he is getting me for Christmas!

Between our funds and funds as a gift from my FIL we got our second car up and running again. So far we've put about 6-700 between registration, insurance, fluids, filters, plug wires, battery and new tires. We need to get a new tie rod. We also have some sort of drain happening with the new battery. Currently we are borrowing a handy tool from a friend to handle that situation. Some sort of solar powered battery charger jigger. Whatever works I guess. This is our holiday gift to ourselves.

We are getting each other a Roomba vaccum. They have improved over the years as we had one when they 1st came out.... it didn't last long. When we had it we loved it. The new ones are more heavy duty and won't get lost under furniture, doesn't clog or get tangled on cords now. Lots of new sensors and adjustments now. We do heavy vacuuming each week, but it is nice to have a daily vacuuming to keep things clean and our allergies down. Plus we get a lifetime warranty on it!

My sister talked me into getting him the DVD set Planet Earth.
I didn't even know what it was till she suggested it. I Googled it, and I figured he might like it. It's something he wouldn't buy for himself, so at least now I have a little something to give him.
