I agree with this. I know that my daughters aren't crazy about the bras their mum buys them as they are fairly plain, so for xmas and birthdays I'll usually get them something a bit nicer. A nice pretty bra/panty set with a bit of lace or something is fine with me, I just don't agree that they should have any pushup or padded bras that are going to make their breasts more prominent. If they want those they can wait until they are old enough to buy their own, I think.

I remember being this age and just begging my mom for a 'proper' bra! She wouldn't cave in, instead we worked around and figured out that i didn't have to have a 'plain' bra but it didn't have to be too showy.
They now have lines of preteen bras that can be strapless or girly without the push up or the padding. Check in La Senza Girl or stores like that.

it just goes to show that times are changing. the younger generation have become more... "show-y". lol
