I heard a statistic today: An average of 87 teen girls will become pregnant every hour. Crazy! I didn't know it was that high.

Did you all hear about the 16 or 17 girls in Mass. - ages 15 and 16- who all purposely got pregnant so they can raise their babies together?

i also have heard a bunch of rumors about how they GOT pregnant...one apparently got pregnant by a homeless man...if this is true it is very sickening

That's gross why would you get pg just because your friend is and....why would you go for the homeless guy?

Yeah, I heard that a 24 year old homeless man is the father of one of the babies.. I actually heard that he is the father of two of the babies. Ew! It makes me wonder what is going through their heads when they decided this would be a good idea! And what did their mothers think?? Yippee, I'm gonna be a grandma! Oh boy. I don't know if this would be lack of parenting, or what.

I have been realizing lately that teen pregnancy has really been sparking something in me. Maybe it's because I had (am having) babies in my early to mid 20's and that's hard enough, and I feel like I really want to make a difference in this particular area, espeically after this teen pregnancy outbreak in MA.
