Okay, not a rant, but more like a "review". I have been getting these for several months now, for free or close to free. I finally used a few the other night. I lit one in my bathroom, then left for about an hour, and came back to find my bathroom smelling nice, but it was already used up! I turned off the bedroom fan, thinking that had caused it to burn fast, and lit another. It was also used up very quickly. dang! I don't think I'll be buying refills for these. Of course if it's free, I can't pass them up.
