I would like to complete enough rebates to cover my internet bill each month which is only $28.
I would also like to do more of the movie ticket offers, as we are going to the movies more.
Document all rebates sent/recieved

COUPONS:
Save atleast 60% on every shopping trip (land of NO doubles!).

Go into the liquor department and score a few winetags instead of just standing there putting my noseprnts on the widow and drool puddle at my feet...lol
Document my savings

DealAGoGo PARTICIPATION:
Post on the board at least once a day
Send out atleast 1 RAOK per month
Post atleast one GDA/HDA each week
Update my trade/trader address book
Post appropriate feedback from trades

The first 2 things I have to work on is checking my prices so I don't miss a good coupon, have missed several freebies or almost freebies and when I'm getting up to 40 coupons of each thats a lot.

The other is actually getting to the stores, with no car and 5 kiddies this is very difficult, luckily most of our stores are open 24hrs now but by 11pm I'm pooped.

(1)My goal is not to 'overbuy', bulk items. Too many I threw out recently because of their expiration dates.
(2) I also would like to trade more. (I was more of a lurker last year).
(3) Get a "Form Train ONLY" going..

Peace on Earth and Good Will to everyone ! :P

To increase my savings. Before I started keeping track as of Dec 31, 2003, I was saving 15-20%. Without all my final tabulations, it looks like I've stepped it up to 49%. As soon as I'm back to work on Monday and grab the last envie with receipts, I'll know. HCM - sorry but my savings were actually only $700 as of August in coupons alone. I'm pretty darn proud of that fact as that is money in my pocket. Not bad when so far my total amt spent is $2,153.44 and that fed a family of four rather well.

As I posted on FW, our family eats much better and quality items these days and I still spend considerably less on grocery than years past. Thanks for all the tips.

I look to the rest of you for inspiration. I work 2 jobs and have very active teens at home and a Navy son, so I'm pretty busy. I'm giving myself a pat on the back for my yearly accomplishments and aiming for better results next year.

This year I will...

1. Buy less candy/sweets. Even if its cheap or even FREE, I will excercise willpower and just walk away. I will not buy it to donate or sell (yard sale) either, because somehow most of it ends up in my belly and that ruins another resolution.

2. Actually keep up with the rebates and send them in RIGHT AWAY. I've got tons of stuff I bought with rebates and didn't mail them in...
I did pretty well, but could be much more organized.

3. Not to get discouraged when something goes wrong and just keep at it. Towards the end of last year, I got behind and everything just piled up so much that I got a little burned out. I've got WT's, rebates, hot coupons, etc. that are now useless but I will learn from it and start anew.

4. To be a good coupon buddy and a great trader.

5. Thank the hard work people put in to make this a great website on such a short notice. Thank you!

In 2005 in will.....

1 - Keep track of my coupon savings for the new year so I have an actual total
2 - Increase the amount of rebating that I do
3 - Keep better track of my rebates
4 - Create a budget and STICK to it
5 - Not be afraid to be active and participate on this board.

I've gotten so many great deals, ideas, and inspiration from various boards! I'm looking forward to having a board to call home and have a great coupon and refunding year!!!

thanks!

1) I'm going to TRY to keep track of my coupon savings. I keep track of my rewards program money, etc. but I haven't kept track of my coupon usage.

2) I'm going to be more organized (aren't we all?). I do alot of trading and giving coupons for a small h/f, but when it comes to my own coupons I've really let it slide. I've let some expire and missed some good deals because my own stash is such a mess.

Happy New Year to all! Lori

!!!! Move to FL and you'll have TWO shopping/walking buddies. Frugaljenn & myself get together Mon-Wed to walk every week (unless it's below 60 degrees ) Brrrrrr!!!! And shopping on the weekends sometimes. We do trades all the time, just no stamp involved.
