We've TTC for 4 cycles now using donor sperm from my BIL with no such luck. Yesturday, my husband decided to have a talk with him, to see if he was wearing out, or was OK to continue on. He said he was still fine with it!! Since the conversation was going well, my husband asked him if he'd be willing to go the "clinic" route if necessary (by using a doctor instead of trying to do it ourselves, which is what we have been doing), not really expecting him to be OK with it (my BIL is very private). His answer was "Whatever I can do to help you two out, I'll do it."
I was SOOOO excited to hear this, because I pretty much thought he would say no as well, and tell us he didn't want tto try anymore.
So, now I am off to research doctors and what the next step is.
Good news! We may have other options!
