got my SpaRewards certificates!
I almost forgot to post this! I got my Spa Rewards cert's in the mail on the 24th. I haven't been able to reach them by phone, they're very busy. But I plan to get my nails done first, if that's an option at mine.
What are YOU going to use them for?

I received $100 in spa rewards and wanted to use it for my anniversary weekend getaway with my husband in Nashville. I chose a spa that sounded great online and called to schedule the appt. Even after the spa rewards, it would have been $100, which is fine but this lady had never heard of spa rewards and then said that they didn't accept them. So I tried to call the number on the back of the certificates and got a recording. I left a message yesterday and havne't gotten a call back.
I'd love to find out if I can use them for this appt. I've made. This spa sounds wonderful and I'd really like to be able to use these if I could.
Anyone know of a site online to see participating spas?
Enjoy yours PamperedPeterson

Apparently you are supposed to call the 800 number and arrange the visit at a participating spa. They have a list of cities by state with participating spas, but they don't list the spas themselves.
Some people have had difficulty with this offer, getting the certificates has been slow. Let us know how you make out.

Thanks for the reminder! I'm going to call them right now.
I have been trying about every other day, but sometimes no-one answers, sometimes I get a recording, but I never get a call-back. My friend here was able to get through, but they said they needed to "work something out" with the spa she chose, and never called her back.
As Janet said, it has been a huge problem, trying to get them redeemed.
When you call, have the spa's information (a fax number is great!). That will help them as well as shorten your waiting time for a response.

I got another automated message, but this time it said that as of 1/24/08, the certificates have to be authorized by March 31st, and used by April 15th.
Well, I called back and this time got a live person! He told me there are NO spas in Kentucky that are authorized, but I asked about New Albany, IN and there was 1, so I got their info. I have to call them to make an appt, then I call SpaRewards back with the info, and they will authorize them. wahoo!

I finally got ahold of someone at the 800 number yesterday and I was told that we could go to any spa for a massage, no pedi's, mani's or hair appt., then send in the receipt and the certificates for a check to be mailed to us.
This was the address given to me:
Wyeth-Walgreens Spa Rewards
p.o. box 614
Labanon, JN 08833
I hope this was correct information.

After I made my appointment (for haircut, manicure, pedicure), I called WSR to confirm and get authorization. When they asked which services, I told them, and they informed me that Hair, Nails, and Tanning are excluded from the offer, that they had "just gotten a memo" about that. I was livid!!! I tried to keep my cool, but there is nothing on the certificate or on ANY of the literature that they would be excluded. The rep said I could pay for any "spa" services at any spa of my choice, and then mail in the receipt with my certs, and I would be reimbursed "within 8 weeks". I said no way!! I said I was sick of the rules being changed, and I wanted to use my certs for any service offered by the spa, and I wanted a spa closer to me. I was transferred to a "supervisor" named Hayley that said she would forward my complaints about the exclusions (which she said have been in place all along), and would also try to work out a deal with a closer spa for me so I wouldn't have to drive an hour. She told me she'd call me the next morning.
Guess what? she didn't call.
I will be calling them again tomorrow.

Actually this is a very good offer if they do what they say they are going to do. There's nothing like a massage! I got $150 in spa rewards for buying 4 bottles of advil and 2 bags of robitussin cough drops. That's an awesome deal! I'll be right over for the manicure and pedicure though
PamperedPeterson,
Maybe if you go to the spa of your choice, they will just give you a receipt and won't say what the services were for? You could maybe inquire before hand.

 @ the home-spa!
tammybelle, I have read on other boards that "you" make an appointment, get the authorization, and then if something comes up and you can't do the appointment, you just ask the spa to charge the WSR credit card (b/c that's how it's paid for), give the spa your certs, and get a GC for later use. That way, the spa gets paid, you can use the GC whenever (instead of getting a year's worth of massages in 1 month ROFL ), and everybody's happy.
That's what I've read, anyway.
