Question Great Depression cooking/cookbooks

I LOVE the videos on YouTube with Clara, and her Depression-era cooking.

With the economy the way it is, and my bills shooting from $300/month rent to $625 + gas and electric...well, I'm Broke. Yes, with a capital B.

And getting my hands on a great cookbook for money saving meals would be a good thing right now. Anybody have any suggestions?

I use a book called "Cheap.Fast.Good" - Can't remember who it's by but I'm sure you'll be able to find it on Amazon.com

Usually I find recipes online with cheap items that I bought at the store. I'll also try and use my slow cooker whenever I have the chance. I haven't founds a good food sealer that I liked yet but I would love to purchase one for when I make large pots of food.
