Default Great game we just starting playing

Wow I think it's pretty cool there is a forum for "game night". Sometimes I think my husband and I are the only parents that enjoy playing games with our kids.
We just discovered Whoonu by Cranium. It's such a great and quick game to play with our 6 and 9 year old. Anyone else play this one?

I haven't heard of that game. I have a 5 and 3 year old. They love to play Hungry Hippo, Candy Land, and Go Fish. I would love to hear of some other games that are good for this age if anyone knows of any!

Lately my 5 1/2 year old twins are playing dominoes. We found an old box of dominoes when we were cleaning out 9 year old ds's closet and now the girls can't get enough of them! They also like Memory, they have a Blue's Clues memory game and an old Barney memory game from my older daughter. A few months ago they were into Hi Ho Cherrio, but I think they have outgrown that one a bit.

whoonu is one of our favorites also. I am with you I thought my husband and I were the only ones that havegame night with our daughter. We also love UNO Attack. It is a cool spin on a classic from our childhood.
Any Cranium game we have played we enjoyed.

Happy Game Night

Oh, I used to love setting up dominoes in all sorts of crazy ways.

If you've ever seen that Malcom in the Middle episode where Dewey puts them all over the house, you'll have an idea of what I used to do.

We play lots of games at our house. I grew up in a family that loved games and played them often but my DH did not. We love to play Mexican Train (Dominoes), Spoons, Uno, UnoAttack, Beat the Parents and many many more.

We always played games with our kids. Ludo and Rummikins, Game of Life, Totopoly, Dominoes. Trionimoes, among others. The one I hated was Barbie charms the world, but I still played it with my daughter. As they got older it was Poleconomy, Squatter, Monopoly, an we stoill play games with our adult children, Setllers of Catan- a great favoriten or cars mostly. With the young grandchilden we play UNO or Rummikub or Dominoes.
