Great Women's Conference!
Just wanted to share that we had a great one day Methodist Women's conference here - the speaker was Kim Bolton, and everyone left feeling very energized, renewed, affirmed. She's a home town girl, raised in Ft Walton Beach, so we appreciated her observation that Jesus lives at the beach. (This of course is why I moved here)
She really had a great perspective as a mom, a wife, and a woman, and how we build Bible study and prayer into our day. I especially liked her definition of PMS - Pray More Strongly. I need that. She said that if you look at what Jesus did 2000 years ago with 12 apostles, just think what He can do today with 250 PMSing women!!!
