Whether or not the ground hog sees his shadow on Feb 2nd
is supposed to determine if we have 6 more weeks of winter
weather
or
if we will see an early spring with mild weather.
The answer is:
Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow Saturday, leading the groundhog to forecast six more weeks of winter.
We had 11 1/2" of snow Thursday - Friday, a new record for my area in Central Illinois, USA.
