What are some signs of growth spurts?

Last night Grace went down for bed at 7. Usually she takes a small catnap at that time and goes to bed for the night at 9, but she was out. And she slept until 9 am (waking 3x, but only 2x to eat). Today she took a 45 min nap in the morning. A few hrs later a 30 min one. Then a few hours later another45 min one. AND a 4 min one later at night. It seems every time I feed her she's falling asleep. Is this a sign of a growth spurt? (that and she sucked down a 6 oz bottle in no time at all yesterday, 20 minutes after I nursed her)

when aiyana goes through 1 she eats tons and sleeps alot, pretty much she just eats and sleeps for a few days

Periods of fussiness, discontent for no apparent reason coupled with increased appetite. Then of course after it's all over, you'll like to notice weight gain or growing out of her clothes! I wrote this about stages of baby fussiness. . .

Every baby is different.
My son would wake up regularly throughout the night for bottles as well as want them constantly throughought the day. He'd also be very fussy - all the time. His sleep patterns would take a serious beating. Then, a week later, after we'd survived the sleepless nights and fussy days, he'd be an inch taller and a pound heavier.
