Swimming, music and me classes and sometimes even art classes. Oh and I've seen language learning classes too.

Both of my girls started gymnastics around 18 months but are now doing the Tumble Bus and they love it! THey come to their daycare twice a week and they have an hour of time each visit and they have a great time and are always flipping and hopping showing me their new "tricks" at home.

The swimming and dance classes sounds really fun. I would really like for my kids to learn how to swim early becuase it really is a must. I've watched clips on youtube that have little bitty babies floating on their backs and it is just incredible how young they start that. Thank you for the ideas!!

That's the program my son did--ISR. We started it with him at 18 months--when we learned about it. I am 37 wks pg with our DD and we're planning on enrolling her next summer. (Babies can start learning to roll themselves over and float as soon as 6 months, or when they can roll themselves over on the floor)

If you'd like more info on it PM me.

If you're lucky enough to live near a "Little Gym" franchise I highly recommend them. We LOVE LOVE it! Great programs.

my little boy will be 2 in November. He has been doing gymnastics for a while. We go to a place that is only for ages 5 and under. They only teach the basics. jumping; falling safely; swinging on a bar; walking on a beam and even playing in a ball pit to promote body movement. He loves it and I get a great work out. I dont mind one bit doing it with him cause I get to help him stay safe. I think you should get advice from your doctor on how he or she feels tho. I got an ok from a specialist before putting my little boy in it.
