Haircut????
OK, so I am looking for opinions, or pics of toddler haircuts.
What did you do with your little girls hair as it started growing and getting into her eyes. Did you cut bangs? Did you try to keep it back? Did you gel it back?????
Poor Tiffany has her hair in her eyes allllll the time. I have tried to tie it up, but it seems to come right back out, most of the time. I feel bad. But I don't really want to cut it. I wanted it to grow out.
I need opinions please!!!!!!!!! Thank you!

A friend of mine used little clips to keep hair out of her daughters face, maybe you could try that for a couple of days and see if Tiffany likes them. Is her hair fine or is it thick? The picture in your sig looks as though her hair is fine, so I don't know if I would gel it back. So my best suggestion would be little clips.

my mom always did the "pebbles" hairdo on me. (yes, from the flinstones. i didn't start growing hair until i was 2, so it wasn't even close to a worry until i was 3 or so). she's so proud of it until this day. i'm thinking i'll just cut izzy's bangs when they start getting in her eyes. this is the best picture i could find for what i have in mind for izzy... Suri but the length a little longer & bangs straight across.
eta - this is the style i was looking for Pic

I cut the bangs because my DD won't keep anything in her hair (and when she was younger it was a choking issue with the hair things). I know lots of moms who do the 'pebbles' hair style when the girls are young.

You can buy little bitty clear plastic hair bands (like rubber bands but not made from rubber) at most drugstores, dollar stores, or at Target. They are really really good for holding baby fine hair. They are tiny and they stretch out when you use them so you pretty much only get one use out of each one but they are really inexpensive. They hold really well and babies who try to pull them out have a hard time removing them, but when Mom takes them out they just pull right out without pulling the hair out with them. That is what I used for my twins when they were small. The ones I am talking about sometines say polyurethane hair bands, anti-pull hair bands, or anti-static hair bands on the packaging.
You can kind of get an idea of what I am talking about from this picture.

jae's hair is impossible...its grows straight down into her face, so i had no choice to cut bangs....plus the back grows way faster then the sides so she always looks like she has a mullet haha!
I use the anti-stick rubber bands and they work pretty well, with a clippy or headband...she just takes them out/off fast. Im trying to grow the bangs out now (except every shoot she goes to they cut them again) I hate bangs, but its about the only option we have

It will be a long time before Ellamae needs a hair cut but I personally like a good trim just to even things out and it can make the hair look thicker.

We use Johnson's no more tangles leave-in conditioner...its in a green container...it's not a spray. Then we take clips I found at walmart that are little baby size clips and clip it back and down and however I can manage.

When the girls were little, under 2 i cut thier bangs, because they wouln't keep anything it. But as soon as they were old enough to leave thier hair alone i let them grow long and put clippys or the no-pull rubber bands in. I have fun doing different kinds of pony tails and pig tails.
Erin, 5, now prefers to not have ponies or clippys, she has finally learned how to tuck her bang behind her ears.
