Default Happy Birthday.... ER Update

Not!! Today is my 24th birthday. I am so not excited today. I woke up super tired and have not felt right all day. I am almost 10wks and am now cramping like crazy. My drs office says as long as I am not spotting not to worry but this cramps are not the norm. They are painful. I wouldnt say they are terrible but they do hurt enough to bother me. I have been drinking tons of water and have my feet up as much as I can being a SAHM to a 16month old. I feel like crap. I feel weak and heavy if that makes sense. Argh. I wish my dr didnt change my appt. I was supposed to have my 10w appt on the 4th which is only two more days. But now I have to wait until the 9th. I really dont like the hospital here so if I go to the E.R. with just cramping I will get 'your uterus is just stretching go home' and a $300 bill for that. I am so irritated with not feeling right.

Happy Birthday! I had bad cramping the whole first trimester and into the second. It took about 15 weeks before it was gone. Because we have both gone through many losses and issues, it just makes sense that this kind of cramping is more torturous for us. I was miserable all the time because I was just tired of being terrified and crampy all the time. It's exhausting. Sometimes the cramping was just there and not too bad, and other times I wanted to take pain meds. I barely slept and I could barely breathe...and that wasn't from the pain but from the stress of worrying about what it all meant. My fingers are crossed for you that all is ok and that time will move quickly so you can be in a more comfortable state.

Happy Birthday Kristin!!!

Have you tried your doppler again? Maybe if you heard the HB again you would feel better. I know it feels like forever but the appt. will be here soon. Isn't 10 weeks around the time your uterus leaves you pelvis? That could explain all the cramps. Sending you

Ive been using the doppler like every day and have not even found a thing except my own HB. I am trying not to worry since I am a little on the chubby side but DH wants me to go to the ER tonight if the cramps keep up because he says he doesnt want me to sit here questioning if everything is ok for another week. IDK I am just feeling blah my symptoms are still MIA except a little of the queasy feeling. I wish our tummies were see through and we could check on things the easy way.

That's the exact same thing I said to my mom. I hope you feel better soon and pray everything is okay. 's I had spotting most of my first trimester and they kept telling me everything was fine but I freaked out every single second anyway. I hope they do make you feel better.

Happy Birthday Kristin...I agree with everyone else about the stretching etc and that the cramps are sometimes par for the course...do your best not to stress yourself out too much...

Kinda funny how you said you wished our tummies were see through...I honestly had a dream last nite that I could see Snugs through my tummy!!! Started just seeing his arm then the rest of him...not only that but then he actually just kinda came through the see through screen..it was weird!! Boy was he cute too!!!

Anyhoo...hope you were able to enjoy your day!! ((((((HUGS)))))

Well I went to the ER tonight because I had some minor cramping and it turns out that even though I had no other symptoms I was dehydrated a little. They did an ultrasound and the baby is measuring perfect. The HB was 170bmp. They gave me some demoral and zofran in my IV. The main unpleasant thing about tonight was that I got a foley cath put in and they reversed the cath and filled my bladder for the U/S. Totally a weird feeling . All with the baby is well and I am breathing a sigh of relief. After the IV I feel a lot better. Its weird though because I am drinking tons of fluids.
