LOTS OF NAPS! I'm so EXHAUSTED. I'm working on Labor day, but I get paid double for working holisdays (dh's job only gives time and a half). We MAY see fireworks but I think I'll just end up babysitting my niecey piecey.

Ugh.

I took all the tile off the bathroom wall. Now I am realizing why I tried to tile it in the first place years ago (yes, tried - some of it came out ok, some did not)- the wall is in very bad shape. So I am scraping, plastering, sanding, uncovering the quick cheap fixes of tape and wallpaper for bad walls. Once I am satisfied, then will renew with waterproof paint so that the next person to own this house has better material for their renovations.

And drinking bloody marys and watching the meerkat manor marathon.

Ugh. After this, the same process in the attic bedroom.

In my next life, I am coming back as a meerkat. Even with all that harshness of the kalahari, right now it looks like they have it easy!

"Labor" day indeed!
