Waiting in line at the local pub with my kids for a hearty dinner, a pint, and some good music.

Having our yearly sisters weekend Sat & Sun.
6 of us meet near Chicago for a time to rebond as sisters.
The 2 in CA will not be there, but the 6 of us from IL and WI will be.
We rent 3 motel rooms, go out to eat at nice restaurants w/ waitresses
(Not McD's!), visit, go shopping, sit in the whirlpool.

It is relaxing. No children, no DHs, no grandkids (my eldest sister is a grandma and
my youngest sister has a 2 yo).

We will all be wearing the green tomorrow for St. Patty's Day.

****************

DS#2 was quite the Irish lad today for school.
I should have taken his photo on his way out to h.s.

DS has red hair and blue-green eyes.
He wore a
green St. Patty's day tee-shirt with a huge shamrock on it,
a gaudy shiny green vest w/ glittery shamrocks,
a bowler hat with a green shamrock.

He truly looked Irish for a mostly Swedish young man!
*giggles*

Well its officially St. Patty's Day here. I have plans to go shopping and buy diapers.

My mom is cooking a nice dinner. I can't help because my mom is one of those "get out of the kitchen and out of my way" cooks. But its ok, now that I cook alot I see me being just the same way.

Woah off topic! Anyways-Hope everyone has a nice day, and I'm wishing you all the good luck in the world!

Melissa-hope your dh has a special day! How are you feeling btw-any better?

Default Top Of The Mornin' To Ya!

Does anyone know the Irish response to "Top of the mornin' to ya!"? , (a lovely greeting)
