My complaint is they have my info, called me by my name and thought it was good customer service to blindside me at the checkout! Harris Teeter has my info they should have called me at home and we could have rectified the situation with me being mortified in public. Thank goodness I was not in there at rush hour for more people quawk at me. Brian Rezmer the store manager made me feel like a criminal. Anyone else had problems like this?? I love Harris Teeter! By the way I made sure they got my check for $6 on the way out!! Didn't spend $$ on baby formula either! Nor the $159.99 backyard swing I was looking at! Thinking of taking back that Christmas merry go round I bought on clearance.

I know this manager. He used to be an assistant manager at the Virginia Beach store on Baltic Avenue. He came up to me one day about 2 months ago and told me they don't accept military coupons. I asked him to explain since they accept competitors coupons and he told me that they only accept competitors coupons that actually say "manufacturers coupon" on it. He said they don't get credit for store coupons. However, I went to another store and was told by a manager that they do accept military coupons. Needless to say I don't use military coupons at the Newport News store anymore. He can be mean when he wants to be. I choose to avoid him altogether. It's sad because this HT is the only one on the peninsula. You have to drive through the tunnel to Norfolk to get to another one.
He did tell me something I didn't know. He said they accept rainchecks from other stores. I was surprised. I never heard of that before.
