Default Has anyone had luck with a replacement card?

I, like many others here, am stuck in the 30 coupon problem and have been for awhile. I started printing some coupons online and some work and for others, I get "coupon not valid for card scanned." I spoke to a CSR yesterday who said that all of the coupons that have been overridden for me by store employees are counting toward my 30. He suggested that I get a new card and he would transfer over all of the my unused coupons and leave behind my current CRT coupons and the overridden ones. He said that should solve my 30-coupon problem.

Has anyone else done this? Does getting a new card really help? I seem to remember someone saying that they got a new card hoping to resolve the issue but it didn't really help. I don't really want to transfer everything and change cards if it won't help!

I been in the 30 coupon limbo for months. So "today" I did a replacement card. I was hesitant, but did it. I will know in 48 hours. I still have $213.00 in ECB's from the October deals not printed!!! I sure hope this solves my problems. I will post an update..........

I don't see how I got into the 30 coupon hades but NOTHING is printing. It is very frustrating. I print some online but haven't been keeping good track of what I printed and haven't, etc. I can't seem to tell what ecb's have been used or not from the website. Is there a FAQ for getting yourself out of this? I did a quickie search and couldn't find it. Or maybe I should just call for a new card also.

Add me to the list of log-jammed ECBs. Mine quit printing a couple of weeks ago. I have this extensive spreadsheet going to keep track of all the ECBs that have yet to print. I, too, would like to know if transferring to a new card will open the flood gates to my ECBs???

check CVS answers (it's a sticky). One of the posts provides a link to a big thread about this topic.

The problem can be fixed, on your own, with using corp or switching cards. I did it.

I just did this with my DH's card this past week. The rep told me that once I start using my card, 5 ECBs should print each time. So far this has not been the case. The first time I used the new card, 2 ECBs printed along with one CRT coupon for the free Tylenol Go-tabs. I then went to a newly converted store and scanned my card at the price check machine and it printed out bunches. I didn't count them. I then shopped in that store the same day and my first 2 that printed from my previous trip, already gave the card not valid error and guess what the cashier did, she overrode it. Since then I have used the card again and everything worked, but I did not get any more ECBs on my order this morning.

They just transfer over one card's problems to another. It's a waste of time. All it accomplishes is them being able to have you not call for a couple days while they send the new card.

I didn't have to wait for a new card. I just went to CVS and asked the cashier for a new set of cards and told the cashier that I would register them online. So, I had my new cards in hand when I called to transfer my bucks. I called and my new bucks were there the next day, didn't even take 48 hours.

I had them do it that way too. They showed up within an hour for me. Still a big waste of time. Same issue traveled to a new card.
