The first time I got double coupons at Fred's was about 2 weeks ago. I picked up a couple of items that were on clearance, and they would be almost free with coupons. The cashier refused the coupon, called the manager, who (rudely I might add) informed me that they dont accept coupons on clearance items. I said... oh, you should have put a sign on the door. He ASSURED me that the sign was there, and I apologised.

On my way out, I read every sticker note on that door and around it. There was no sign that stated Fred's does not accept coupons on clearance items. So, I did not make a scene just accepted their facts and moved on...

Have you used your coups on clearance? Should I call corp? HMMM This inquiring mind wants to know..
