Default haven't really felt baby moving yet :/

I'm 22 weeks pregnant (according to the doctor, 21 weeks according to cycles) and I really haven't felt the baby moving at all. The heartbeat and ultrasounds have all been fine, but everyone's told me I should have felt him by now. I thought a few weeks ago when I was 17 weeks that I was feeling him, but I haven't felt anything since then. I've read that 16-22 weeks is when you should start feeling babies move, so I don't know. Maybe I'm just running a bit late? I have an anterior placenta, could that be why I haven't felt him????

i didn't feel DD until late. i'd feel her a little bit before 20 weeks, but i didn't REALLY feel her (constantly) until sometime later. (sorry, don't remember the week). as long as everything's checking out ok, you're fine.

Yes a anterior plancenta can mask the movements a bit. Lay down in a quiet room and i'm sure you'll feel your little one fluttering.

Yep, the anterior placenta and 1st baby are all reasons why you' feel baby late. Shoot, I went in for an u/s at 23 weeks(I had felt her by then)and you could see McKenzie kicking the dickens out of me- and I couldn't feel it. I had an anterior placenta, too.

DH's ex said that she never felt the baby move... I don't know if she had an anterior placenta or not, but I remember her going to the doctor a lot towards the end because she was scared, and everything turned out fine. He is a happy, healthy, VERY energetic little 2 yo now!

I didn't feel movement until 22wks and it wasn't very much movement. Don't worry especially if every thing else has been fine.

I had my scan yesterday and have an anterior placenta ( again) I dont feel a lot of movement either, I do when im in bed and i'm lying on my left side.

I second what JoJo has said, try having a lay down and you will feel your bubba ( just try not to drop off to sleep )

I use to get my DD moving/kicking by playing music close to my tummy. You could try that.

I notice it has been a while since you wrote the first post.
Have you started to feel the baby move? How are you doing?
