HOW WONDERFUL!
Mine took his first few steps not long ago, September actually. Now he is running, literally running, around the house. This is where life starts to go really fast, so remember to enjoy every minute as you get it because you just can't get them back.

Congratulations!

My granddaughter is a little younger - 4 1/2 months - and has just learned to roll from back to front. She hates it when she gets there, but can't figure out how to go back. It is just as much, if not more, fun to watch her as it was my own three. Childhood development is just an amazing miracle don't you think?

I think what I love the most is the fact that watching my son makes me realize all that I take for granted. It is exciting to look at the world - and the amazing things our bodies can do - from their perspective.

Cute baby....Edyn (my baby) just turned 10 months on Sunday. My boys walked at 9 months, but my other daughter didn't walk until she was 14 months. It really just depends on the baby. They all reach milestones at different times but by the time they reach 2 it really doesn't matter at what age they start doing things.

Mine was 11 months when he started toddling around. He's 13 months and running now. Of course, every child is different.

We did a lot of little exercises with ours before he started moving around much - leg lifts & bends, assisted situps, just baby stuff to get his muscles ready. We would hold him up and let him get the feel of the floor beneath his feet too.
