Default Hello Im New and looking for support

Hello
my name is patricia. I just recently lost my baby girl Mckenzie. I was 26 weeks when I found out the umbilical cord had gotten twisted and cut off all oxygen, blood flow..etc.. and i had carried her for 4 weeks and she had already passed. I feel like a bad mother because i should have known something was wrong and i didnt. Im still have so many questions and no ones answering them and i feel so lost. My doctor says we are ready to start trying again and we are but im so scared. I dont know if I can go through this a second time. I have a son who is 2 1/2. If hasnt been for him and my husband i know this would be harder so I am grateful for them. Is so glad I found this forum i feel so much better knowing im not the only one who has lost their angel.
p.s i created a counter but dont know how to use it?? Help??

So sorry for your loss. You're not a bad mom. How could you have known something was wrong?

It is not your fault. Don't think for a minute that you were a bad mother!! how would you know something was wrong?? Sometimes bad things happen and there is no one to blame.
I am so sorry about your loss. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Patricia, Welcome to the Family. You are definitely not alone. There are so many women here who have gone through what you have. We are all here to support each other.

I know it's going to be hard but try to remember that you are not a bad mother. There was no way you could have known what was going on.

Thank you all so much for your kind words of sympathy and support. You are greatly appreciated. I guess im still just trying to figure things out and trying to move on. I guess the hardest part was going throught the c section and recovery and coming home from the hospital empty handed. I was so looking forward to changing diapers, and feeding times, and holding that sweet little angel and seeing her face everyday. I still cant bring myself to pack her things away. Everyones telling me to pack them away and it would be easier, but I think the opposite. I feel bad for my son because he is too young to understand what is going on and sometimes he has this confused look on his face. How will I ever tell him his baby sister is in heaven?

Please don't feel like you are a bad mother. I went through a similiar situation (althought I was'nt as far along as you) We tend to blame ourselves because it is easy. Although your body maybe ready to try again, listen to your heart about being ready. It took me two yrs before I was ready again. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself.
