Default help college student short interview

Hi, there. I am a native Californian working in early childhood education in China and studying online at the same time. I hope I can have a job which will support me and my son, born here, when we come back to the States. Right now I need help with a short interview about parenting a child with special needs. This is for San Diego Community College and the class is Special Needs CHIL 165. Of course I would first need to know the name and age and special need of your child. Then here are the rest of the questions. I just need one more complete set of answers in order to have the information for my paper. Thanks in advance,
Kristina Ringo
Some of these questions may not
exactly apply, but just write what you think is relevant.
I also want to ask how long your child has lived with you, if adopted, and when did you first notice that he/she was different? Is there anything you can or want to share about his biological family?
Thanks for the gift of your time.
"• Have the parent describe the process of diagnosis, obtaining
services, and any issues that have existed within the classroom
experience for them and/or their child.
• How easy or difficult has it been for the parents to obtain support
and/or education about their child's diagnosis?
• How easy or difficult has it been for the child to receive
appropriate services in school?
• Does the child (or the parent if the child is too young to answer)
feel they are treated like the other children? Or do they see
differences by either other children or the teacher?"
There is one more question that is really from the list for the
student to research and answer (that's me) but I would like your take
on it, as well. Sort of a hindsight question. If you knew then what
you know now...
"If your child had a disability and you were needing to provide
him/her with a high quality educational opportunity, would you want
your child to go through the processes this child went through? Why
or why not?"
Thanks again. I look forward to reading your answers.
