Default I have a great idea for you

[quote=rachel__hughes]my h2b mentioned something a few wks ago about its tradition to give each other a gift on r wedding day, i need some ideas and fast[/quote
My husband loves to play golf, so during my bridal session photography I had the photographer take a picture of me holding a golf club about to putt in my wedding dress. I had it framed and engraved on the bottom. You can use this idea on anything, just pick one of his hobbies. It came out cute and he loved it, and now its sitting on his desk at work.

OK, I just asked DH what gift I gave to him when we got married.

Mind you, it was 26 years ago. I have no idea at this minute what it was. Neither does DH. 'Maybe' it was a pocket watch. That used to be a big thing.

One of those things, I thought I'd never forget. Guess it was a long time ago.

A gift from bride to groom and also a gift from groom to bride is a lovely idea.

My hubby is into offroading so I gave him a gift certificate to Discount Tire Co. He was ecstatic. It really meant a lot to him since his mud tires are so high!
Try to give him something he can use or needs... something meaningful.

I put together a CD of a bunch of songs we liked, or meant something to us. We are both country music fans, so I used songs like "Remember When..", "From This Moment..", Just Another Day In Paradise..." etc.

Hi, I'm new to the board, but wanted to give my two cents. I got my husband a pretty geeked out watch because he's into hiking and predicting weather...but i posted a similar question a while ago, and one woman had a really clever and sweet idea if your husband is a sentimental type. She made a scrapbook with some significant memories/photos, etc from their relationship up until that point, and then titled the rest of the pages for different stages in their future life together and left those pages blank to be filled with new memories. Anyway, I thought it was really sweet and so personal, I'm working on one for mine and my husband's one year anniversary

Default Unique gift for you both

I think a great gift you could give each other is from a company called Love Expressions. They have love note gift sets. The sets have 2 really nice boxes in each box there are love notes for the husband to give to the wife and in the other box love notes for the wife to give to her husband. Go to their website and take a look http://www.love-expressions-usa.com

I gave DH a watch. I had thought about giving him a pocket watch, but he told me not to bother because he wouldn't use it. DH is an engineer and super picky when it comes to electronics, gizmos, gadgets, etc so he actually picked it out about a month after we got married.
