Default Help me CVS customers! (from your friendly CVS employee)

Well ive been working at CVS for a year and a month, and i have FINNALY wrote a bad raincheck, According to the manager that the raincheck was used on. But I need help, because this manager isnt too happy that he had to give away 4 of the Garnier Nutrisse(green box) hair color at buy one get one free. Can any of you tell me if that particular haircolor, or the 100$ one (in the red box) have EVER been buy one get one free? We dont keep any old ads in the store, so if i dont find out with some evidence by tuesday, im in big trouble .

I wish i could find an online ad somewhere, but i have no luck.

Default I know....

I don't know if this will help but I save my receipts and remember a round of purchases I did in January.
My receipts are from Jan. 18. I purchased Clairol Natural Instincts Hair Dye. It was on sale BOGO. I used a BOGO coupon and only paid sales tax.
I still have boxes of this dye under my sink and can take pictures if you need them. I can also scan and email you copies of my receipts if you need them.

I would think that customer service or corporate would have these deals on file. Maybe you can call them tomorrow to get the information. I would also think that your manager would have access to this information. Why is he/she causing such a big ruckus over a legitamate rain check?

I agree, it seems to me that corporate would have a copy or a file on all past ads. And technically, corporate offices are there to act as customer service to company employees.
Also, check with your local newspaper. They ususally keep extra copies of past publications including the inserts that ran in those publications.
Hope this helps!

Recently, the Garnier Nutrisse haircolor was buy one get one free.

I would check the April 14, 2007 ad I believe. I'm from Illinois

Do not worry, It was buy one get one free last week, so tell your manager not to worry, i work for cvs too and pay a lot of attention to the adds, also we have started a 3 ring binder at our store where we keep adds from the last two months so that we can use it to check on rainchecks so maybe you could suggest that to your store manager. I hope this makes you feel better, by the way it was the green box garnier hair coloring that was buy one get one free.

Yeah, i thought so, i knew i wouldntve wrote it without seeing a sale tag. Now I just need to find an ad to back myself up.

My manager is making a big deal because if i dont show some evidence, he thinks the other manager is going to call loss prevention on me.
