Question Help!! My 6yr old daughter has problems with soiling her pants!!

Hi there, my 6yr old daughter has lately been pooping her pants. And it seems to be rather runny. I reading somewhere that it could be due to constipation and lactose intolerance. I was just wondering if anyone had any advise on how to deal with this. It hasnt happened at school yet, but I am afraid that if it does, she will get really hurt. She's very embarrased about it all, and "forgets" to tell when she has pooped. She trys to hide it sometimes, or sometimes it doesnt seem like she realizes that she's done it at all!! Help, please! And words of advice would be greatly appreciated!
