Good luck on your weight loss! I am so proud to hear about your efforts. If you are in the first stages of your weight loss then it wouldn't hurt to weigh yourself or not. The only thing that I suggest is to weigh yourself at the exact same time--usually when you wake up in the morning, and log that number. By all means don't stress if you do gain the couple of pounds back because you WILL, and then you'll loose it again. As long as you are consistent about your exercise you will loose the weight. I would also like to recommend that you take chia seed--it is a wonderful diet aid and it is totally natural you can google "chia" to learn more about it and you can also go to my youtube video "trainwithjean" and learn a little more, too.
